Goldcar is incorporated in the United Nations Global Pact

Goldcar, the market leader in the holiday car rental sector, has joined the United Nations Global Pact. This international initiative is for businesses to integrate 10 Principles universally accepted into their culture, strategies, policies and procedures, to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

This initiative is another step in the Goldcar commitment towards sustainability and business excellence. By joining the Global Pact of the United Nations, the company is committed to implementing the principles, and will prepare and submit an annual report presenting the progress achieved regarding commitments to society and to channelling collaborative projects in support of the Millennium Development Objectives (MDO).

"The company is totally involved in the implementation of the Global Pact Principles through concrete initiatives and actions to support the abolition of discrimination in employment, promote greater environmental responsibility and encourage the eradication of corruption in any of its forms. "

With more than 12,000 signatories in over 145 countries, the United Nations Global Pact (Global Compact), is the largest voluntary corporate social responsibility initiative in the world. A project for cooperation and transparency at international level from large companies and SME's, as well as other organisations (third sector, trade unions, business associations and educational institutions).
